The funding was part of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center's (MLSC) STEM Equipment and Professional Development Grant Program and the Workforce Development Capital Grant Program. The MLSC awarded more than $3.3 million for roughly 49 projects through the grant program. 

Grade 8 science teacher Rebecca Audette has been selected by the Massachusetts Association of Science Teachers (MAST) as Middlesex County’s recipient of the 2025 Science Educator of the Year Award.

Bowen was recognized as part of the 2025 National Merit Scholarship Program for her exceptional academic promise. Commended Scholars were among the top 50,000 highest scorers on the 2023 National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test, also known as the Preliminary SAT.

NMRSD will have a new dynamic duo for the 2025-2026 school year.

Officer Dylan Silvestri will be assuming his new role as NM’s SRO and will be accompanied by Officer Ruby. Ruby has started to get acclimated to her new surroundings while undergoing training. Ruby is a working dog, similar to a service dog, and will work with Officer Silvestri to support school safety. Ruby is not a therapy dog and should not be viewed that way.
