Mrs. Susan Rotella
Susan Rotella is the speech-language pathologist at the SECC Preschool and has been in the district since 2008. She is rejoining the preschool team after working at Ashby Elementary for several years. She graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a Master’s degree in Communication Disorders in 1995 and has been a speech-language patholist since then. Mrs. Rotella has experience working with students on the Autism spectrum as well as students with a variety of speech and language delays. She is a married mother of two children, one age 17 and the other (who is no longer a child) age 19. She is thrilled to have the opportunity to once again return to work with your children here at SECC. Please feel free to contact Mrs. Rotella with an speech or language-related questions.

Mrs. Kirsten Alfano
Kirsten Alfano is a full time Speech Language Pathologist who is new to the district as of the 2020-2021 school year. She received her masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Emerson College, and a bachelor's degree in Developmental Psychology from Wheaton College (MA). She works with students at both Squannacook Early Childhood Center, and Spaulding Memorial School. Previously, Mrs. Alfano (aka Miss Kay) worked with the pediatric population in Early Intervention at South Bay Community Services in Worcester MA. She grew up in Maine and loves to spend as much time as she can visiting over the summer and school vacations. She now lives in Lunenburg MA with her husband and two dogs, Sparks and Julius.
