Kate Guziejka is currently in her fourth year as Principal of Spaulding Memorial School. As Principal, Ms. Guziejka is responsible for overseeing and carrying out the school’s mission and vision on a daily basis. Her other duties include supervising and evaluating various school personnel, establishing teaching schedules, establishing school improvement plans, and implementing district improvement plans within the building.

Ms. Guziejka has been an educator within the North Middlesex Regional School District for her entire career. Before becoming Principal at Spaulding Memorial, Ms. Guziejka served as Assistant Principal at Spaulding Memorial and North Middlesex Regional High School. Ms. Guziejka was a history teacher and chair of the Culture and Humanities Department at North Middlesex Regional High School before becoming an administrator.

Ms. Guziejka holds a bachelor’s degree and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Massachusetts Lowell and has completed advanced coursework through Harvard University and Fitchburg State University. She is also a member of the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development and the Massachusetts School Administrators Association.

Ms. Guziejka is the mom to three fantastic kids and spends her free time cheering them on from the sidelines of the volleyball and basketball court and lacrosse field.

Kristen Fearon currently serves as the Assistant Principal since 2018 for Spaulding Memorial School. As the Assistant Principal, Ms. Fearon collaborates with Ms. Guziejka to ensure the mission and vision of the school is carried out on a daily basis. Ms. Fearon is also responsible for evaluating various school personnel, establish schedules for student support services, and coordinate standardized assessments and trainings.

Before becoming an Assistant Principal at Spaulding Memorial, Ms. Fearon served as an Assistant Principal in New Hampshire from 2015 to 2018, and a Special Education Teacher for Grades 1 to 3 at Spaulding Memorial from 2007 to 2015.

Ms. Fearon holds a M.Ed. in Organizational Management (Endicott College), a M.Ed. in Educational Technology (Lesley University), and a B.S.E. with dual concentration in Special Education and Elementary Education (Fitchburg State University).

In her own time, Ms. Fearon loves to travel, try unique foods, and spend time with her family.
