Degrees and Certifications:

Mrs. Kristina Jarret

Mrs. Kristina Jarret, MPH, BSN, RN

Mrs. Jarret has over 5 years of pediatrics experience as a registered nurse in the school, home and office setting. She has extensive experience working with medically fragile children as well as children with special educational needs. In addition to a Master’s Degree in Public Health, Mrs. Jarret has multiple undergraduate degrees, including a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Communications with a minor in Public Relations. She enjoys community health work and has a passion for school health. Her goal is to see that the children at NMS are safe, healthy and ready to learn everyday they are in school.

Mrs. Jarret began her nursing career working in pediatric homecare, which she still works per-diem. After two years, she decided to pursue another avenue and started working at Nashoba Learning Group, a school for autistic children. Working at Nashoba provided a great opportunity for learning to manage a school health office with very complex, verbal, non-verbal, and behavioral students. Due to a location move, Mrs. Jarret transitioned to a position in a pediatric doctor’s office, where she worked for 2.5 years and gained a broader experience in pediatric health, immunizations and family care, but her heart was still in school nursing and in 2019, Mrs. Jarret accepted the school nurse position at Nissitissit Middle School. She looks forward to providing care to the students, staff, and community at Nissitissit Middle School and throughout the whole North Middlesex Regional School District.

On a personal note, Mrs. Jarret resides close by in Nashua N.H. with her husband and black lab puppy named Buckley. She likes to spend her time outside of school working out and enjoying the outdoors while running or walking the puppy.
