Anne Marie Tucciarone-Mahan, Director of Human Resources
Anne Marie Tucciarone-Mahan has served as the Director of Human Resources with North Middlesex Regional School District since 2018. Anne Marie has over 25 years of human resources experience in the private and public sectors as well as education. Anne Marie’s prior public sector experience includes 11 years as Director of Human Resources for the Greater Lawrence Technical School in Andover, 6 years for the Town of Burlington and the Burlington Public Schools and 3 years for the Town of North Andover.
Anne Marie has notable experience in strategic human resource planning, performance management, staffing, federal and state law compliance, collective bargaining and grievance adjudication, employment litigation, benefits design and management, compensation and payroll, training and organizational development as well as management coaching. Anne Marie’s experience also encompasses human resource process, teacher licensure, policy and strategy development and implementation; employee relations, recruitment and unemployment compensation; employee assistance programs, worker’s compensation, defined benefit retirement plans and other post employment benefits.
Anne Marie has been published in HR Magazine and was recognized by Frontline Technologies for an essay she authored on substitute teachers in the classroom. Anne Marie earned her degree from Boston College, has consulted with public and private sector employers on creating and developing an effective human resources department and serves as a mentor to human resources professionals entering the field in private business, public sector and education positions.
Anne Marie is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM), Massachusetts Association of School Personnel Administrators (MASPA) and the American Association of School Administrators (AASA).
Charlene Cotter, Administrative Benefits Support
Charlene Cotter is the Administrative Benefits Support Specialist for the North Middlesex Regional School District.
In this position, Charlene provides administrative assistance for the central office with a primary focus on employee benefits and onboarding. She works closely with the Director of Human Resources as well as the business office and assists on special projects as necessary.
Charlene joined NMRSD in January 2019. Prior to her position at the school district, she worked in the private sector for many years, where she worked in various roles including payroll and benefits.
