If your child is going to be absent from school, please call our Absent Line at 978-743-1008. The Absent Line is available 24 hours a day.

Your child should bring a note to the office when:
- They missed school to be seen by a doctor, dentist, orthodontist (provide doctor's note)
- They need to ride a different bus
- They are being dismissed during the school day
- **Students do not need a note to walk home or leave at the end of the day as a car rider

Please make plans with your child ahead of time so that they know how they are getting home each day. We understand that emergencies do occur. Any changes to dismissal plans should be called into the office prior to 1:00.
What time are students dismissed on Early Release Days?
Students are dismissed at 11:05 on Early Release Days.
Can I request classwork/assignments if my child is absent from school?
We do not provide school work for students who are on vacation. If your child is sick for three consecutive days, please call the office before 9:00 a.m. on the third day to request homework. Teachers will prepare work during the day and leave it at the office to be picked up after 2:45. If a request is made later in the day, the work may not be ready until the following day. We highly suggest that parents use Aspen to check homework for students who are absent less than three days.
