North Middlesex Regional School District has partnered with Whitsons School Nutrition to manage the food service program for the district.

Whitsons School Nutrition provides a wide range of highly customized dining services to public and private schools in the Northeast, with a strong focus on nutritious, high quality menus made from fresh, wholesome ingredients. We have built a strong reputation for providing high quality food, progressive nutrition education programs and excellent service. We are committed to using locally sourced ingredients whenever available and in season and emphasize wholesome, natural ingredients, whole grains, fresh fruits and vegetables, lean proteins, allergen-free menu options and healthy snacks.

We educate students about making healthy choices through our award-winning Nutrition Safari® and Smart Choices™ nutrition programs and keep our menus fresh and exciting, incorporating community feedback and the latest menu trends. We work very closely with each community we serve to provide innovative, nutritious school breakfast and lunch programs that are customized to meet their specific needs. Our company owners and executive team directly support each community’s goals, working with and empowering our onsite teams to successfully achieve the program goals on which we have collaborated.

The results speak for themselves; the students we serve provide positive feedback about the food variety, nutrition and quality and our programs experience increases in participation in our first year of service, which are sustained or increased in subsequent years.
