Kaitlin Smith- Preschool Teacher
Kaitlin Smith is an Integrated Preschool Teacher in her fourth year at SECC. She is a graduate of Framingham State University and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education. Mrs. Smith is completing a graduate program at Fitchburg State University and will soon receive a M.Ed. in Special Education. She has experience working in private preschools, summer camps, kindergarten classes, and a second grade class. She has a passion for teaching and especially enjoys working with the preschool age group. Her goal is to have her students look forward to learning and enjoy attending school. Outside of work, Mrs. Smith enjoys crafting, family gatherings, and spending time with her husband and two cats.
Melanie Landino- Instructional Aide
Melanie Landino is a part time instructional assistant in Mrs. Smith’s class. This is her third year at SECC. Mrs. Landino and her husband live in Pepperell where they are raising their five children and three dogs. Their children range in age from 12 to 21. In her spare time, Mrs. Landino enjoys reading, spending time outside, gardening, and playing fetch with her dogs. She spends her summers on Prudence Island with her family and friends. She especially enjoys the time that she spends with your children and truly hopes that she is having a positive impact on their futures!
Kathlene Beaulac- Instructional Aide
Kathlene Beaulac is an full-time instructional assistant in Mrs. Smith’s class. Mrs. Beaulac has been a Townsend resident for 20 years. She has experience substituting in the district and was previously an aide at Hawthorne Brook. She has also worked with infants, toddlers, and kindergarteners in the past. This year, Kathlene has been blessed to play a role at SECC and enjoys the relationships she has built with the students. During summer months, Mrs. Beaulac enjoys taking her three children ranging in age from 8 to 16, camping in their RV. She and her husband have recently added a new puppy to their family.
