NMRHS Athletic Facilities

  • Indoor Athletics

    • Gymnasium - Stadium seating on one side
    • Fitness Room - Weight Benches & Exercise Bikes
    • Dance/Yoga Studio - Open floor studio with mirrors on walls, approximately the size of a classroom

    Outdoor Athletics

    Note:  The NMRHS grass fields are not available for rental from November 1st through April 15th.  The NMRHS Synthetic Turf Field & Track Complex is not available for rental from November 15th  through April 1st. All other outdoor rental requests will be determined based on weather conditions and field or court maintenance requirements.    

    • Synthetic Turf Field & Track Complex
    • Baseball Field
    • Practice Field - Typically used for Football, Soccer, Lacrosse, or Field Hockey
    • Sterilite Field - Typically used for Soccer, Field Hockey, or Lacrosse
    • Softball Field
    • Marching Band Field - 3/4 size field used for unlined practices  
    • Utility Field - 3/4 size field used for unlined practices

  • Indoor Athletics

    • Gymnasium - No stadium seating

    Outdoor Athletics

    Note:  The HBMS grass fields and courts are not available for rental from November 15th through April 1st.  All other outdoor rental requests will be determined based on weather conditions and field or court maintenance requirements.      

    • Tennis Courts - Used for both Tennis and Pickleball
    • Basketball Courts - Outdoor Basketball Courts
    • Soccer & Softball Fields - Unlined open space for soccer, baseball, and softball practice
    • Lacrosse Field - Unlined space for lacrosse, soccer, or field hockey practice

    • Nissitissit Middle School Gymnasium -  Full gym, no stadium seating
    • Varnum Brook Elementary School Gymnasium -  Full gym, no stadium seating  
    • Spaulding Memorial School - Small gym, no stadium seating, stage at one end
    • Ashby Elementary School - Small gym, no stadium seating, stage at one end
    • Squannacook Early Childhood Center - Small gym, no stadium seating  

    Additional Indoor Athletics  

    The outdoor fields around Nissitissit and Varnum Brook are managed by the town of Pepperell.  The fields behind Spaulding Memorial School are managed by the town of Townsend.  These fields cannot be reserved through North Middlesex. 

    Ashby Elementary and Squannacook do not have any athletic fields.
