Amy Manchester

I began teaching in 1999, after receiving a BS in Microbiology from UMASS Amherst, and an MAT in Secondary Science Education from Simmons University. I have taught biology, physics, chemistry, and other science electives throughout my career at Andover High School, Nantucket High School, and as of 2015, NMRHS. I have been married, for almost 20 years, to a high school math teacher, and I have three sons, Timothy, (freshman math major at UMASS Amherst), Andy, (sophomore at ASRHS), and Bobby, (7th grade, ASRMS). I currently teach accelerated and Advanced Placement chemistry at NMRHS, and I am the advisor for NM's Young Women's Empowerment Group, YWEG.
